Today in Year 3 Arty Science Group, we looked at different fossils and talked about how fossils are made. In particular, we looked at ammonites of different sizes including some which had been cut in half to show the compartments inside. Today Year 3 Arty Science Group, looked closely at beetles. We noticed that they have six legs which end in a small claw at the end and that they may have antennae and mouth parts for nibbling. The outside covering of some beetles is shiny and colourful. We made these brightly coloured beetle models
