Beautiful Butterflies

In Hedgehog class we have been lucky enough to have some visitors (thank you Harry!).  They have now transformed into 5 beautiful butterflies.  The butterflies are busy feeding on apple, banana and a sweet sugar syrup.  We’re hoping to release them on Thursday or Friday when their wings are strong enough.

We found out that pebbles become round and smooth because they have been rolled in the sea or rubbed against each other until the rough edges are chipped away.
